Testing... something not to overlook - Part One

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to talk about something I find quite interesting and that people often doesn't know how it's or if it's done at all. Every MMU creator has their own way to do it, I'm just telling you the way I test my products. If any of you has other ideas or a better way to test them I'll be more than glad to hear that!

I find that testing a product is a very important step on its creation. You can't just throw in some micas, a base, mix them and voilá, ready to sell. There is a process, where you first have to mix a color, know which kind of finish you want (I want to do a very extensive post someday explaining the way bases or the lack of them and which kind of bases and quantities affect in a certain way the finish, look and quality of an eyeshadow), put it all together and then you have to actually try that finished product to see if you made it right or if it does work at all the way it should.

Depending on the product I'm testing, I do it differently. I'll write a two part post breaking down in detail how I test each product. In Part One I'll cover eyeshadows and in Part Two I'll talk about blushes and face powders.

Let's start!

Eyeshadow

Eyeshadows are really fun to make. They have so many possibilities it's ridiculous! You can also test them in many different ways.
The first thing I do is swatch the eyeshadow on my forearm with no primer, then I apply a bit of TFSI next to it, let it set for a few seconds then apply it on top of the primer. I'm going to use Purrrple as a sample here. The swatch on the left is on bare skin and the one on the right on top of TFSI.

The next step is rubbing the surface where I applied the eyeshadow gently to see how it holds up to touching and blending.

I also like to test how the eyeshadow behaves when it's wet, so I dip the tip of an angled eyeliner brush on a drop of water, take of the excess of water with a tissue and then I pick a bit of eyeshadow and apply a thin line next to the swatches.

Once I'm happy with that, I go on and apply the eyeshadow on my eyelids. I use a little bit of primer before then I apply it and see how it wears during the day. I also like lining my lower line with that eyeshadow wet. If I'm going out, I also do my liner and apply a bit of mascara.

One thing I find very important and it's primary for me is to check if my eyes get irritated using an eyeshadow. My eyes are sensitive and get irritated easily so I would never sell anything if it irritated them.

Cleaning up is also important, does the eyeshadow stain? Is it hard to remove from my eyes? These things are also taken into consideration.

The next day I'm ready to see how it blends with other eyeshadows so it's time to create a look using the one I've been testing. At this step, I ALWAYS use eyeshadows from Lost in Makeupland that have been already tested or other eyeshadows I have at home, be it loose or pressed it doesn't matter, but I have to be sure that if anything goes wrong, it's because of the one I'm currently testing and I can know exactly what's wrong and how to fix it.

It is the last and most critical step. If the eyeshadow doesn't blend well, if it falls out of your eyes, if it's impossible to build up opacity... then that batch is wrong and the formula will need some more adjusting and to start the test again.

If everything goes fine and I'm happy with the result, the eyeshadow will be ready to be released!! I take pictures of it, write the Etsy listing, and time to move on to another one! :)

Do you find this kind of posts useful? Do you want me to keep on posting things like this? Is there anything you'd like me to cover? As always, I'll be glad to listen.

Stay tuned for Part Two!! ^___^

Christmas Day Look

Here in Algeciras, the 24th is a bit different than anywhere else in Spain. Young people reunite in the morning (since 12:00 or so) and drink, have fun with friends, drink some more and spend the afternoon inside a huge crowd until the sun goes down.

I didn't feel like drinking, so I just took a beer there and went for a couple of hours in the afternoon to meet friends. Since it was going to be really crowded I went with some comfortable clothes and pretty basic makeup. I didn't apply a base or concealer at all to let my skin rest for the night. I just applied a bit of a Deliplus powder base and MUFE HD powder to my skin. No blush at all since my hair was freshly dyed and dye would end on my cheeks anyway later. I kept my eyes simple too.

I used my Sleek Acid palette for the look, using the matte purple and a bit of neon pink in my inner corner blended very well with the purple and a bit of the white from that palette under my crease blending down the purple and pink and on my inner corner. As a highlight I applied a bit of Faerie to the rest of my lid up to my eyebrows.

At 20:00 I went back home to take a quick shower and change my clothes and also changed my makeup. I did a look inspired on this GORGEOUS look by Phyrra. I was in a real hurry and couldn't take pictures of it though, but will redo it and take pictures then since I loved the result.

Ana made me happy today :)

This morning I woke up to a lovely review by Anastasia of Lipsticks and Lightsabers. I'm glad she liked my products and love the fact that she highlighted the good stuff and also pointed out what needs improvement. That's what reviews are for and it's, along with customers feedback, the best way to improve, check out what you do right and wrong and of course, a way to reach people who wouldn't know of your business otherwise. I will ran tabout reviews, review requests and that another day, I'm just taking a break from orders, it's been quite busy today.

You can read Anastasia's review and see her GOOOORGEOUS swatches HERE.

Lost in Makeupland has also been reviewed by the wonderful Phyrra (can you keep a secret? She's my blogging hero!), you can check her introduction and great, accurate swatches HERE.

Kimberly from Kimmie Karma Love also tried and swatched some of my products and posted a review on her blog, you can find them HERE.

And Nea, from Fashioned in Finland also swatched, reviewed and did a few beautiful looks using Lost in Makeupland eyeshadows, go take a look at them HERE!

If you have reviewed my company or find any reviews online, please let me know, I will post them here whether they liked my products or not!

New week...

As you may (or may not if you are new to Lost in Makeupland), every week starts with a Lifestyle collection release and a new weekly offer.

Supply problems seem to have vanished already and I'm going back to being fully productive! Today was quite productive actually since I released 3 blush shades.

Monday will be the release of Mustard, a greenish gold, almost metallic and quite flattering. Here is a little swatch of it.

On to the weekly sale... there's one going until December 25th that you'll already know about if you follow me on Twitter ;) AND there's another one that starts this week. If your order is over $15 (shipping not included), you can choose 5 eyeshadow, highlighter or blush samples for free. Not bad, isn't it?

This week I want to get more swatching done, show you upcoming eyeshadows I'm working on, do a few EOTDs (any look you'd like to see? Is there any eyeshadow combo you want me to try? I'm open to suggestions!).

I also want to share with you some of the products I use frequently and highlight others I'm dying to try but haven't bought yet.

Dealing with making the Facebook page is driving me crazy, I've spent the whole day trying to make something nice for it and it was a total failure. I hope I figure out during this week a way to make it work. Trying to find a template to add offers, highlight new products and more stuff there has been fruitless.

I also have a few emails to send, some research to do, to do home stuff, bleach and dye my hair, setting up the reviews page, get ready to party HARD on the 24th, keep going to the gym every day of the week and so many things that I feel dizzy just by thinking about them.

Blogging regularly is quite an effort to me, but I think I'm getting used to it slowly :)

How was last week for you? Is this incoming week going to be stressful for you too?

Blushes!!

Finally, I've started selling blushes! So far, I'm selling three shades: Shy, Enough and Sunburnt. Right now only samples and 10gr full size jars are available at $1.50 samples and $7 the full sizes. I'll list MiniSizes in the upcoming days.

Blushes really are a pain to swatch, combined with the fact that it's been really dark and cloudy lately, it's been impossible to get good swatches of them :(

Anyway, let's take a look at these babies!

Shy is a shimmery baby pink, it will give your skin a beautiful glow!

Enough is my favourite, it's a medium pink with buildable opacity, flattering and natural. It has a satiny texture to it so it doesn't get too shimmery.

Sunburnt is perfect for medium to dark skin tones, but used carefully is gorgeous on lighter skin tones as well. It is a pinkish coral, it's very pigmented so I recommend you add little by little until you get the desired result!

All these blushes can be used on your eyes and cheeks :)

Do you like them? Which kind of texture do you prefer on blushes? My favourite would be mat, what about you?

New earrings yay!

Hi everyone!! Today I would have liked to do some swatching and overall be a productive person, but it's been so rainy and dark I couldn't do anything, just taking a look at invoices and that kind of stuff. Lightening is so bad I'm not bothering taking pictures of my EOTD. I'm wearing something pretty basic, light neutral shadows on my eyes with thick eyeliner and lots of mascara and Nyx B52 on my lips, even though I might change it to red if I go out later.

So today's post won't be makeup related. I just want to show you a pair of earrings I bought on Etsy, on the Heidi's Jewelry Designs shop. I found them randomly looking for a necklace, I found the matching necklace on this shop but found it was more expensive than I was willing to pay, then I saw the earrings and couldn't help myself!! They have a section called Pay it Forward, where you pay only for materials and shipping. I paid $4.45 and received them quite soon.

Here's a picture of them on my ears (ignore my roots, I REALLY need to bleach them lol)

I find they are quite well made, even though the way they are assembled disgusts me because they turn a bit inwards so you don't see their shape unless I turn my head. But overall I really like them.

Do you like them? Is there any jewerly shop on Etsy you would recommend me? I'm still on the hunt for a nice necklace and more earrings :)

Finally!! And coming soon...

Today I have a couple of announcements!! Full size 10 gram jars for highlighters Glow and Faerie are already available on my shop, at $8 I think is a fair price for them.

On another note, I also made a Facebook page for LiM, check it out!

And, I'm showing you a sneak peak of what's coming this Monday, a new Lifestyle eyeshadow, Mustard!! It is a greenish gold, with a nearly metallic look to it. It's beautiful and has a lot of blending possibilities!

I'm also going to start selling blushes as soon as I put together pictures and text they'll be up on my shop. Blush prices will be $4.00 MiniSize 5gr jar and $7.00 Full size 10gr jar.

How should I use the Facebook page? What do you think of Mustard? Do you find my highlighter and blush prices fair? I'll be glad to know your opinion! :)

The Weekly LiM offers and releases post... a bit late

Hi everyone!

I should have written this on Sunday, but if you throw together the fact that I'm lazy, that my netbook was formated on Sunday and I hate writing using it with a passion and that I've been quite busy (did I say I'm lazy?) well, I've kind of neglected the blog.

I'm very surprised that I get many visits everyday, I hope you people like the content and find it interesting/useful or at least entertaining. Is there anything you would like me to add to the blog? Any topic you want me to talk about, looks you want to see, tutorials... whatever. I'm open to ideas so if you give me one I'll give it a try.

This week has been very prolific at Lost in Makeupland. There have been quite a few releases. Let's take a look at them!

-This week's Lifestyle release was Sugar-coated, a gorgeous bright light blue. Here's a pic of me wearing it on my lid with Party on the outer corner. In this look I also used Glow (the highlight you see on the rest of my lid) and Snow in the inner corner and just under my eyebrow.

-Glow. Another highlighter. I really like it. It's a lovely sheer golden toned highlighter, great for achieving a natural glow on your skin. It was swatched with no primer.

-Individual full sizes and samples of the Rock my Look collection. FINALLY!! I also swatched the whole collection as liners and added it to the listings. What do you think?

About this weekly offer... you get a full size eyeshadow of your choice from the Rock my Look or the Lifestyle collections with every order over $10 (shipping not included). Not a bad deal!!

I would also like to apologize to a couple of customers who are getting their orders these days in big baggies instead of the small ones I use. There have been delays in every supplies orders I've made early in the month and I ran out of sample baggies. I just received a large order of them so it won't happen again. These customers have also received more product than usual to make up for it.

On a last note, if you have done any looks using my products and would like me to feature them both on the blog and on a Facebook page I'm working on (I've said it more than once, I'm computer challenged LOL) email them to me at lostinmakeupland @ gmail . com

I'm going to add a little page on the top (next to About, Contact, etc) where I'll be posting pictures you people send me. I'll add another one where I'll list all the reviews on my products so you can check what other people has experienced with them. If you have written a review about Lost in Makeupland or have stumbled upon one on the net, send me the link so I can post a link to it here too.

UPS!! It ended up being a rather large post lol.

Mail brought me love today

It's not very usual to receive mail on Saturdays here, but this morning the postman made me VERY happy because my Haus of Gloi order arrived.

I've been like crazy waiting for it, it had been forever since I finished my Vice sugar scrub sample!! I own more samples, but even though I really like them, Vice just has to be my favourite. So far I've tried their sugar scrubs, perfume oils and soap bars.

This time I bought four products:

Spiced Cocoa whipped cream soap
Vice sugar scrub
Vice body emulsion
Vice soft bubbling scrub

They included a little vial of Litchi Milk Tea perfume oil, which smells AMAZING so I couldn't be happier <3

Scents description:

VICE: Steam billows rolling off a vessel of fresh made Turkish coffee, marshmallow goo tainted by graham cracker crums, toasted hazelnuts and blanketed in black chocolate.

SPICED COCOA: Hot cuppa cocoa spiked with wintery spices.

This is the Vice sugar scrub, I literally want to eat myself after using it!

Oh, I could spend forever telling you how much I love this stuff, I just wanted to share the joy :)

FOTD Blue shock

Today I've been playing with a couple of new colors. One of them is Glow, a nice golden toned highlighter which will be released this weekend, and the other is Sugar-coated, next Monday's Lifestyle release, which is a gorgeous (sorry I love it) light blue with a little touch of green and silver glitter. I've also used Party and Snow to give an extra highlight.

My skin is a bit crazy today, I've run out of my daily exfoliating cleanser so I didn't want to apply too much makeup, just powder foundation today.

I really love how the look turned out, it's been hours after I did it and the eyeshadows look as bright and vibrant as they did this afternoon :)

This is the look before applying mascara and without highlighters or my waterline lined. Natural light.

PRODUCTS USED:

-EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Lost in Makeupland Sugar-coated (whole lid)
Lost in Makeupland Party (outer corner and a bit up into the crease, lower line)
Lost in Makeupland Glow (rest of the lid, very ligtly)
Lost in Makeupland Snow (inner corners, under eyebrow)
Deliplus black pen liner
MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack (waterline)
Too Faced Lash Injection mascara

-FACE
Deliplus pressed powder foundation in 5 Nuez (I don't recommend this foundation, it's gross, but it's the only pressed powder with color I own for the face right now)
MAC Gentle Mineralize blush
Cargo Catalina blush

-LIPS
Nyx Round Lipgloss in Doll Pink

 Finished eye, with flash
My finished face, taken without flash, my house's lightening sucks!

It's a pity I don't own Pixie Epoxy yet (it has been on my list of HAVE to buy since like... FOREVER? I hope my economical situation goes back to normal soon and I can afford to make a big order from Fyrinnae <3). I think the colors would have a much better payoff on top of it, specially Party, which is heavily loaded with glitter.

What do you think of the look? Would you have chosen another combo? Which kind of looks would you like to see here? I'll be glad to "listen"! ^___^

My daily hair routine

I like my hair.
That said, I do take care of it in an almost obsessive way and thanks to that it does look healthy and shini even after years of bleaching and dyeing.

During this year, it's been red after a couple of years of going through all the shades of red, pink and purplish fuchsias you can imagine (that also includes orange when I forget to uy more dye T_T). I'm currently wearing a mix of Special Effects Blood Red and Devilish, that gives me my favourite shade of red and I find it's the most flattering to my skin tone.

My hair is not oily, but I go to the gym everyday and the city I live in is very contaminated, so I have to wash my hair every two days.

I'm currently using Kerastase products because this summer it really god damaged with the sun, beach, styling products, etc and in the short period I've used them (and after getting a good haircut) it's gotten much better. I first shampoo my hair with Kerastase Bain de Force and rinse inmediately. After doing that, I take the excess water off my hair and apply a tiny amount of the Maske Age Recharge mask and let it work for a few minutes Then I rinse and wrap a towell around my head.

Once per week, I do what I call "the treatment", which consist on applying the mask, then I put my hair on a ponytail and blow dry it. Then I leave it like that for a couple of hours and rinse it very carefully. I also do this everytime I dye my hair, after I apply the dye, I blowdry it and leave it working for a few hours.

While my hair is still damp, I always use the Kerastase Ciment Thermique serum, which is activated by heat so it protects my hair from my styling tools and a Deliplus serum for the ends. I always start to blowdry it but stop when my ends are stil slightly damp and let it airdry. At summer I don't usually blowdry.

When it's completely dry, I straighten my hair with the GHD IV styler, which takes me just a few minutes because my hair itself is straight, though there really it's a lot of hair.

I don't use any other tools between washes, combing my hair with a brush mantains it perfect until the next wash.

Asides from that, I bleach my roots every month then apply red dye. I really don't need a lot of touch up, just a bit more of dye every two weeks or so.

How do you treat your hair daily? Have you found a magic combination for it?

Today's releases and sale of the week

Today has been a long, productive day!! I've released two things, the weekly Lifestyle eyeshadow, Lazy Sunday and a highlighter I've previously talked about, Faerie.

Here you have swatches of both!

 Lazy Sunday

Faerie

And, since I'm in a good mood because I'm going to watch the new The Walking Dead episode tonight, I'm going to give you during this whole week (until Sunday 12th) a free blush with every order over $10 (shipping cost not included into the $10).

I'm working on 6 blush shades at the momment. Here you have a picture of the ones which are ready to be sold. They won't be available though until I'm happy with all the shades.

Yay!!! :)

EOTD Expensive dreams

Today I've gone for a dark yet wearable golden look. Dream on and expensive work really well together, so I just had to add a bit of highlight, eyeliner and mascara and was ready!! It is a very fast and easy look nad also very flattering.

My "almost" EOTD!

Don't you hate it when you rush to get your things done, have dinner while in a momment to be able to get ready, you get dressed and start to put on your make up to go out, and just when you're about to finish (I was going to put my mascara on) you are told you aren't going anywhere.

Ehh... yes, I'm angry, but the look really was gorgeous. I'm only posting pictures of my eyes and lips because lightening was awful and I wasn't in the mood for full face pictures.

I felt in a gold mood so I put this look together. I find these shades are very flattering on my brown/green eyes, they bring out the green in them and add some warmth to my face and expression. About the choice of lipstick, I find these two products together work with any look for me, so I stick to that combo whenever I don't want to think about what to wear.

PRODUCTS USED

Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Lost in Makeupland Them Bones (the lightest color of the upcoming Alice's Chains collection) on the lid

Lost in Makeupland Faerie on entire lid to highlight a bit

What do you think of it? Would you have chosen another lip/cheek combo?

Holy Grail items I can't live without

Today I want to tell you about a few things I can't live without. Those are my HG in makeup, bath and hair products. Some have been discovered recently but most of them have been a favourite of me for a long time.

Let's start!!

1. Too Faced Shadow Insurance

I strongly believe everybody who is into make up, no matter if it is mainstream or indie, should use some sort of eye primer. It makes the color of the eyeshadows pop, improves adhesion, makes them last, helps prevent them from creasing... etc.

I've tried a few, and this is by far my favourite. I can't live without it!! I've been using it over a year and my tube still has a lot of product inside (you need the tiniest bit!!), even using it for swatching the eyeshadows I sell both when I'm going to photograph them and when I'm testing them both on my arms and eyes.

2. MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack

My life changed when I started using cream eyeliner!! You get a lot of precision, it's easier to use than liquid ones for me and works as a gorgeous black base to add up whatever you want! I'm not a fan of MAC, but I live and swear by this product.

3. Too Faced Lash Injection mascara

I discovered this over a year ago, and the momment I tried it it beat my (until that day) HG mascara combo. It gives my lashes lenght, makes them thicker and also does a great work on "multiplying" them. It's also very black, doesn't have any fallout on me and has never clumped or made my lashes look bad.

4. NYX lipstick in B52

This is my everyday choice of lipstick. It works wonderfully with my skin tone at summer when I'm tanner and with a pinkish or creamy gloss on top the rest of the year when I'm quite pale. I love it's formula, really creamy and easy to use, and the fact you can use it in any kind of look.

5. Lost in Makeupland highlighter in Faerie

Ok, so you can't know about this product because it isn't available yet, but I've been testing and using this over a month and has quickly become a HG for me. It's the perfect highlighter for my skin tone, it doesn't add a lot of shimmer, just lightens up a bit my skin. I use it on a everyday basis on my face and am in love with the results. I've also used it on a photoshoot on 4 different models, each one with a different skin tone, and it looked gorgeous. I wouldn't use as a finishing powder all over the face, just on those places which need a bit of extra life, but if you like that effect it works well.

6. Deliplus Kohl blending brush

They sell it as a blending brush for kohl and pencils, but I've been using for over 2 years as an eyeliner brush. This is my favourite brush ever, cheap (€3.70), does its job perfectly and has lasted me this much using it on a daily basis, so it's definitely a HG.

7. Benefit blush in Coralista

This shade looks great on me the whole year. It gives me a nice flushed look, similar to how my skin looks after going to the beach, not sunburnt, just warmed up a bit. It's got a great formula and really nice pigmentation that you can build up.

8. Kerastase Ciment Thermique serum

This is GREAT!! I've had a tube of this for over two years and it still has product inside for some more time. Ths serum is heat activated, it also helps protecting your hair when you blowdry or straighten it, leaving it looking better and helping it recover from all the shit hair goes through everyday. It's expensive, as everything from this brand, but it lasts so long (you only have to use the TINIEST bit everytime.

I'm using two more Kerastase products on my everyday hair care, I've been using them for a month with great results, but it's too son to claim them as HG yet.

10. Haus of Gloi sugar scrub in Vice

I love Haus of Gloi!! That said, I bought a lot of samples from them a long time ago, and was absolutely enchanted by the sugar scrubs, my favourite being Vice. It smells delicious, feels great on my skin, and the scent lingers on my body the whole day. I always used it after my shower, and just before going out applied a bit of vanilla perfume. Usually people where amazed by how I smelled, and I literally wanted to eat myself LOL. I ran out of it a few months ago, and during that time I've been using the rest of scrub samples I got from them. I like them all, but Vice is my absolute fave.

11. Deliplus Monogotas Vainilla shower gel

I bought this shower gel last month, and it has become a favourite of me, even more than Sephora's Vanilla Brulee shower gel. The reason is very simple, you get 500ml of this gel for €1,80 (a bit over $2), it feels really good on the skin, smells AMAZING, a bit on the vanilla ice cream side, it's really sweet, and it lingers on the skin for a few hours.

12. Sephora perfumes

I use those on a daily basis. I alternate between Vanilla Brulee and Pomegranate Lychee. I love both and can't live without them!! They smell gorgeous and linger on my skin for a long time. They aren't cheap, but they last me nearly two months each tube so I'm happy with that.

13. Garnier Body Tonic

This is a firming lotion for your body. I've been using it on an off in the last 3 years and love it. I like to apply it everyday after going to the gym, just after I step out of the shower. It does make my skin softer, and definitely has helped me with cellulite, BUT, it won't make it disappear, the best thing you can do to firm your skin and make your body look good is excercise, so don't expect a lotion to do the work for you! It will only make your skin look better and have a better feel to it, but only if you eat properly and excercise yourself.

14. Garnier Pure 3 in 1 cleanser

I've got normal to combination skin, I usually don't get too oily, just 'these' days, the rest of time my skin does behave quite well if I use the right products. This exfoliator is the perfect cleanser for my skin. It is a bit harsh so I used it only once per day, but that way I get matte skin, clean pores and no break outs. I've been using it for a couple of years with great results. Sadly I haven't been able to find it anywhere lately even though the website says it's still in their skin care line, so for the last two months I had to switch to their Pure deep exfoliating gel with ok results but not perfect. It irritates my skin slightly and I get a bit oily through the day, I get ocassional breakouts too. Now I've run out of it, so I'll try to find my HG again to make my skin go back to normal.

15. GHD styler

I don't have much to say about it, just that it's the best thing I've ever bought and can't live without it. My hair is straight but it's got a LOT of volume, so this straightener helps me keep it the way it has to, in a few minutes (it takes me 5 minutes to do my whole head). It's absolutely worth its cost.

Wow that was long!! Those are my HG products, I've left a few out but these are the most important ones.

Which products do you feel you can't live without?

Swatches of Alice's Chains :)

Today is a sunny day yay!! It's been raining and cloudy non stop for almost two weeks, but today sun has risen so I have been able to swatch this new collection. Before the end of this week I'll put up a sample pack on the shop as a preview of this collection. I LOOOOOVE it!!

The swatches didn't turn out perfect, as usual, but you get an idea. I also plan on doing a comparison of a few shades which don't look right on my screen with a few TKB micas, so there is no doubt about my products ;)

What do you think of these colors?

December comes with a great sale!! :)

December is a hard month, there's so much to buy and wallets are certainly not healthy!

SOOO... Here it is!

Buy one full size eyeshadow and get one for free!! That means you get two eyeshadows for $5.99! Include the name of the shadow you want for free after you make your purchase or convo me about it.

Also, Buy 2 eyeshadow samples and you'll get one for free!! It works the same as the BOGO, include the name of the shadow you want for free after you make your purchase or convo me about it.

IS THAT ALL??? NO!!

I've also lowered shipping charges during December, since I know post goes slower I'll make up for it that way.

See anything you like?

Coming soon...

This is what I'm working on lately:

-Releasing the Lifestyle collection

Every Monday I'll be releasing a new shade. Those are bright yet very wearable eyeshadows for everyday use.

This week was Psychedelic Mushroom's turn, isn't it gorgeous?

-The Rock my Look collection

This music related collection will be released arond the middle of December, but a sample pack is available at $4.50. 6 crazy, deep and plain gorgeous colors great for dark, edgy smokey looks, and GREAT used as liners.

-Alice's Chains collection

This will be released during December as well. Those colors are, I don't know how to explain it, like a "clean" look at Alice in Chains's album covers, I love that band! These colors are wearable and easy to combine.

-New products

In the upcoming months I'll be releasing a few blushes and finishing powders.

Everything will happen at it's time, no rushing here. I'm working very hard on providing good quality products and hope everybody enjoys them as much as I do ^____^

Is there anything you'd like to see? What shades would you like to see and try?

Finally!!! I made a blog!

Hi!!

It's taken me quite a lot of time and effort (blogging and I don't get along) but I finally made a blog for Lost in Makeupland, my Mineral Makeup company. BTW I'm Belén, a Spanish girl obsessed with everything makeup, hair dye and bath related ^____^

Here you'll find info about my upcoming collections, swatches, looks, maybe a few tutorials, reviews by buyers and bloggers, stuff I buy, other shops I like, etc.

My biggest challenge is to keep on updating this but I'll try my best!!

You can also find me on Twitter or by email at lostinmakeupland@gmail.com
